The Vision

The University of Salford envisioned a £65 million, 15,500-square-metre hub at the heart of its Peel Park campus and sought a partner with expertise in managing large-scale projects.

Designed to meet BREEAM Excellent standards, the SEE Building embodies the university’s dedication to sustainability, offering a cutting-edge space for students, academics, and industry partners to collaborate in specialist labs, teaching spaces, classrooms, and offices.

The Challenge

Delivering a project of this scale demanded meticulous coordination, strategic collaboration, and a balance of sustainability and style.

Elevate was brought on board by the project’s principal contractor, Morgan Sindall, to manage the sourcing and installation of the building’s loose furniture, ensuring the final spaces were cost-effective, functional, and visually striking.

The university worked closely with Sheppard Robson Architects to create a design that was both functional and aesthetically striking. As the chosen delivery partner, it was our job to honour this vision while identifying cost-saving opportunities for the University, without compromising its goals for BREEAM Excellence.

Our Approach

In just three months, we transformed the SEE Building’s interior into an accessible, inclusive, and inspiring space. Every detail was carefully considered, from delivery to installation and quality assurance.
